I have seen in the past animations with objects that are disconnected physically but have an elastic connection between them. such that if one object were to move the physics simulation would pull the other along and it would bounce around as if connected by a rubber band or some kind of elastic. can anyone pinpoint what this simulation is called and how it might be achieved in blender?
Rigid Body constraints! So much fun you’ll spend hours playing with them instead of doing something productive. I would tell you to look at the Wiki but the wiki is now much more of a cruel joke than ever… there’sthis Wiki page, which you can’t get to directly from the contents anymore, and on Youtube you can search " Blender rigid body constraint" for some very nice tutorials and explanations.
