Indirectly, Blender and Elephants Dream have been dugg on digg.com. Their link points to the Timeline of CGI in film and television on Wikipedia. Cool read. Check it out.

They need to fix their timeline. The Two Towers was not the first movie to use “AI digital actors”. WETA Digital used MASSIVE in the Fellowship of the Ring too, so it should be the first movie. (Unless there was a movie that beat Fellowship to it.;))
On topic, though, that’s a cool find.
