Emission Test on the glare node

Hi, my first post here. I noticed something small about the glare node… When you increase the emission value for an object it simultaneously adds to the glare on the object.
Like for showing touch on the ball, I added some schematic glow on the surface of the basketball. The glow(emission material) on the ball itself has a lower value than the rest…I can only imagine how wide the possibilities can be…little tip for those who didn’t know.

Thanks!

The Threshold value on the glare node controls the strength of the glow based on the emission value of the material. This allows you to have glows of varying strengths in the same render. Nice work there.

since the glare works on a floating point image, the emitting values effect the glare node even more than the ‘normal’ level of brightness. Pretty cool!
