So in blender GE (as well as blender itself) it seems that while you can use a textured map to affect the emission value it doesn’t appear to be possible to affect the colour.
I want to be able to use the colour value on the emission to make something look normal in daylight but glow a different colour. The reason for this is simply because I want to have a realistic looking LCD panel with a glow on the surrounding model that i’ve painted in.
So far the only way I can achieve this is by making the emission texture map to the diffuse colour. The trouble with this is that it results in the colours mixing and you can see the colour of the glow even in broad daylight as if it was painted on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
