Enabling/Installing Rigify in Blender 2.57

Hi -

I’m enabling an addon in Blender for the first time and I’m a little confused.

So far I’ve gone into “Blender User Preferences”, “Addons” tab
I’ve checked the box next to “Rigify” and clicked the “Install Add-On” button.

That took me to my directory where I was supposed to navigate to the addon folder… right?
I navigated to the “Blender \ 2.57 \ scripts \ addons \ rigify” folder… and found the following list of folders and files:

pycache
metarigs
rigs
init.py
generate.py
metarig_menu.py
rig_ui_template.py
ui.py
utils.py

What do I do now? I’m supposed to choose the .py file to install… right? I’m supposed to choose one and click the “Install Add-On” button? Which do I select…?

I’m still just learning this program so it’s all new to me. AND I’ve been following the instructions on “http : // wiki.blender.org / index.php / Doc:2.5 / Manual / Extensions / Python / Add-Ons” … I’m just confused now.

Thanks so much for your guidance-
J.

To install the addon just tick the box. The Install Addon button is to install other 3rd part addons not already in the list of addons.
Then use Ctrl+U to then save as your default.

oooOOOOoooooo sooo I’m an idiot. Awesome lol!

Thanks man!
