I don’t know what it is about blender that attracts free-energy people (they’re both “free”?), I’ve seen several threads now with over-unity devices, and being an engineering major it kind of makes me sad…
all I can say is, if you really think it will work go and build it. At the very least you’ll learn something from the attempt : ]
Not trying to knock ya there Jack000, but I’m gonna go off on a quick rant.
What I find interesting is that no matter how many times our understanding of physics is proven wrong and redesigned we humans still think we know what is impossible. Take a look at the Wright brothers, what a complete waste of time, humans were never meant to fly. Speaking of wasting time I don’t know why anyone would even consider trying to put a man on the moon, just plain impossible. Lest we forget that the Earth is flat, I mean everyone knows that right?

actually all the examples you gave don’t apply… everyone knew that flight was possible, it certainly wasn’t against the physics of the time. And no scientist ever thought that the earth was flat.
when scientists go against prevailing thought, they usually discover some new phenomenon or find a contradiction in current theories. Let me ask you: why is the conservation of energy wrong? What evidence do you have that it is? And why is this evidence so strong that it would overturn one of the cornerstones of all science?
Nice animation with good timing for the text explaining your concept. Unfortunately the idea of free energy generation, although attractive, is one of these concepts that quickly falls apart when you do a careful assessment of the energy transfers in the system. Conservation of energy is one of these things that is around us every day and you will find applies to your concept also.
I liked your animation though. So don’t be disheartened. Keep thinking of new ideas. You never know, you might come up with something really great, but you will find that it will be constrained by the practicalities of life, including physics. The clever bit is to work within the constraints in a novel way. Best of luck.

And I stick to them. That said, energy can NOT be “free” in the sense you mean. If I got your concept, you are NOT ONLY building a perpetual motion machine, but also getting energy out of it :D.

It’s actually not a perpetual motion device because the parts would suffer wear and tear eventually needing replacement. It’s not technically free energy, just extremely cheap energy. As far as the law of conservation of energy is concerned this device will need to have energy put into it from time to time in the form of parts replacement, in that effect it’s not actually violating any laws of physics because energy will still need to be expended to maintain it’s operation over time.
At any rate I didn’t actually come to this forum for argumentative purposes, but more from an animation standpoint. I posted this vid in another forum where arguing is more common practice.
However; on the subject of physical laws I am working on another video with some concepts that don’t have the appearance of violating the laws of physics so perhaps you and Jack will enjoy it a bit more.
Another thing that’s good to note about this device is where the energy comes from. The Electricity is coming from the permanent magnets inside the DC generator. Those magnets were infused with energy from the Earth’s core. What this device is doing is pulling that energy back out of those magnets. I really don’t see how this violates the laws of physics because those magnets were infused with energy from electricity in the Earth’s core, that energy was converted into magnetism, this device is converting that energy back into electricity.
It is a novel design. It would be fairly easy to build if you had a machine-shop. I have some ideas buzzing around in head about a generator that utilizes ferromagnetic-fluid. I have a hunch that if a “free” energy machine is ever successfully built, it will utilize gravity as the source of power. There seems to be no shortage of gravity in the universe, we just have to be clever enough to figure out a way to harness it.
I have a hunch that gravity and magnetism are the same thing. Did you know that large super conductors have been built that can generate a magnetic field powerful enough to attract oxygen! This suggests that magnetism can attract more than just metals, possibly all types of matter. Moreover every atom has a magnetic force of attraction.
I’m pretty sure a rail gun needs electricity to work, so it won’t work.

you are aware the gravitational fields are conservative. if you start at point b move around to point d and return to point b you do zero work regards of the path you took.
if you pick up a book and putit on a shelf, you do work increasing the book’s potential energy. should someone come along bump that book and it falls, its potential energy that it got from you lifting it up and putting it on the shelf is converted to kinetic energy when it falls and hits the ground.
what most over unity enthusiasts have a tendency of overlooking is the first part of the story where somebody did work on the system and stored some energy into it. You tend to see the book falling and think wow free energy.

satellites orbiting in space don’t get up there by some magic, work is done on them by some massive super expensive rockets. the stay up there as along as their energy isn’t used to do work. But eventually even in the super thin atmosphere of low earth orbit they use up all their energy to overcome aerodynamic drag at which point the crush and burn. If the are far enough away from earth the can stay up there forever but always remember work was done to put them into orbit. the can stay up forever because the don’t do any work to overcome any aerodynamic drag. As their position in earth’s gravitational field changes the merely convert kinetic into potential or the reverse their total energy remains stable and equal to the amount of work you did to place them into orbit.

ferromagnetic materials don’t become magnetic unless work is done on them. Every ‘permanent’ magnetic that you pick up is acting as a store of energy. It takes a shit load of electricity to magnetize there materials. If you build any of those fantastic little motors that you see on you tube don’t be too surprised if you permanent magnets are not permanent for too long.

placing objects into magnetic fields requires work, its the same as picking up an object off the ground. you are doing work on that object against earth’s gravitational field. Ever seen that over unity machine where some guy places a ball bearing on an incline lined with magnets and the ball bearing races up. Ever wondered where it got its energy, it came from him placing said ball bearing into the magnetic field.

Once again this is NOT an over unity device. It is not creating energy, it is converting magnetic energy to electrical energy. The energy is stored in the magnets inside of the DC Generator, this device is simply pulling that energy back out.
