I’d think this would really benefit from some hint of aerial perspective (rayleigh scattering). As it is now, some of the background stuff (most notably the hovering vessels) feels somewhat off. Like in they seem far away and really close at the same time.

Apart from this nitpicking, it’s nice work though.

Wow. That looks like a tremendous amount of work!! Nice job. The first picture reminded me of something from War of the Worlds. You must have a lot of patience…

thank you!! I did it on purpose though, but if it feels off i assume it’s done wrong. I’ll try and improve it.
If u have more, please address them here

I saw some insane winner renders from the rookies 2019 awards and i had to come up with something either very close enough to contend or try my absolute hardest to atleast get what i had in mind but in a very small scale. When Flipped Normals first introduced the competition, i had like 2 months. So i fixed my butt to the chair and went nuts. For full description on how i did it please check out the link to the competition https://www.therookies.co/entries/6473

Thank you! Especially for noticing the effort that went into the textures. Please follow https://www.therookies.co/entries/6473
for detailed workflow, and check out the portfolio within my profile there, to see the story i had in mind for each render. If you like it, vote or share as well, it’d really help. Thanks again.
