Environment lighting causes UV seams?

I can’t provide an image atm but i’m sure you all know what a uv seam is?

anyway, when i render regularly it looks fine but for some reason using environment lighting causes UV seams. I’m going to test extending the boarders later to see if that fixes any ting. but i still find this very odd…

perhaps i should report it?

Is your UV image going just up to the edges of your UV coords, or does it extend slightly beyond?

actually i forgot to post this but, it turns out the seam issue was directly related to my very low resolution test renders. as when i do i higher resolution render the seams are gone.
