Environmental reflections and Live action Integration

Does anyone know how to create environmental reflections in blender? Better yet does anyone have a tutorial? I’m confused on how to integrate my blender models with live action footage. Does blender support maps and passes yet. If so are there any tutorials showing how to use them?


All the ones that I know of are fairly old, but there should be something in the old blender manual. I’ll see if I can find it. It may not be the exact same process as with current versions though.

I would recommend making a HDRI for the scene to obtain semi-accurate reflections
