Ink & Light has been producing series and short films for kids and family audiences since 2012. Based in Ireland and Finland, recent work includes Royals Next Door and Ollie currently airing on RTÉ2 and Harry and Bip airing on Sky.
We’re looking for an experienced CG Modeller - Environments for an animated comedy series.
Job Location: This role is open ONLY to candidates based in the Republic of Ireland or eligible to work here and willing to relocate.
Start date: ASAP.
As a CG Modeller, you will be working closely with the Series Director and Art Director, as well as a rigger and animators, translating concept art and environment designs into models ready to be animated.
Key things we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

A strong ability to model and sculpt with Blender / ZBrush

Ability to interpret and follow reference material to create clean, detailed, and accurate models

Understanding of form, proportion, depth, scale, topology and physical space, including knowledge of anatomy and zoology

Excellent communication skills, allowing you to work with other members of the production pipeline to understand and achieve the director’s vision and solve problems

Initiative and ability to contribute creatively using your own ideas, rather than just follow direction

A strong eye for detail

An ability to work to a high standard within tight deadlines
