Im trying to load a avi movie file to use as a background but everytime i press the movie button in textures it comes up with an error Not A Movie! Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?
Alternativly how do you load a image sequence?

It’s the wrong format most likely. try converting it to a different codec. cinepack codec is an old standard, so maybe try that.
The image sequence has to be in one folder and the images have to be numbered (i.e. name001.jpg, name002.jpg etc.)
Create an image texture by selecting the first image (movie off) and in the “Anim and Movie” panel set the “Frames” button to the number of your image frames.
