when i try to export to any file type blender gives me this error: python script error check console, what does this mean? how can i fix it?

probably that you didn’t have python installed on your system, or that your python path is not set the right way if you did.
please check the python forum, and pay a look at the sticky posts (particularly the one dealing with the setting of the python path, in case you actually made a python installation)

And that “Check Console” message means exactly that; check the console for an error message. In windose it’s behind Blender, for Mac and Linux you need to call it from Applications.
