Evee is rendering on my CPU instead GPU

I am using a mining rig where I have risers on for my graphics cards.
Rendering with Cycles on GPU works wel, but I noticed that EVEE is using my CPU instead.
In the preferences > System there you can set your render devices, but those settings are for cycles only. Any idea how i can get EVEE using my GPU’s ?
Windows 10, 3x GTX18010 TI on risers. My monitor/display is connected to my CPU.

Hi.

So Eevee is using your integrated GPU.
Eevee use OpenGL, not related whit Cycles settings in User Preferences. The GPU used is one and this will be the one you have configured as the primary display, where you connect the monitor.

ahh, thanks.
Those 1080 TI are so big, it’s hard to plug them in the motherboard without risers. I might break the motherboard so heavy they are. Setting a GPU as primairy display when a riser is used is not possible. Not a big issue so far since I render mostly with cycles, still.

I noticed that Cycles as well is rendering with my integrated CPU. (Only 2.80) That while in the preferences my GTX 1080 Ti’s are selected and cpu switched off).

In 2.79 it’s all ok.

Any idea why that is?

Hi.
Publish screenshot of Edit menu > User Preferences > System
Also in Render Tab and being in Cycles, screenshot of Performance item.

Hi Yafu,

In Blender 2.8:
System preferences:
systempreferences

Render engine: (tried supported as well as experimental:
renderEngine

CPU: 100% :
CPU

GPU’s:
GPU

In Blender 2.79b I can render with my 3 GTX cards. (At the same time). They are on risers as you know.

Did you have GPU Compute mode enabled for Cycles? It’s located under the performance panel in 2.8.

Ahhhh. I missed that. Now I can Render on my GTX with Cycles in 2.8.

Thanks.
