Even with Multitexture shading, objects aren't shaded

I have a static plane which is subdivided. In addition, I have other objects which also aren’t shaded. All the objects have independent textures. The plane is static and the other objects are rigid bodies which are box bound.

Any help.

Are you in texture mode? Also, see if “light” is enabled in the texture face settings.

Happens also without UV-Coordinates on the plane.
