I’ve never tried the Game Engine, so I figured I’d at least take a look at it. My library just got the Blender Gamekit, and even though it was written for 2.24 I thought it would be a start.
Anyway, I managed to get a ball to fall onto a plane…starting simple. But I have a problem already. I made a nice texture for my plane using the improved texture tools and just made the ball purple.
When I hit the PKEY and the action starts, the plane and ball are bright white. Any tips?

you need to either
- Vertex paint it, or
- use the UV mapper.
