Everything stuck in white Blender-->Cycles-->All White

I had material colors for reference while constructing,

then switched to cycles render to do materials like metallic and texture.

The texture I added didn’t work at all for some reason, but I’m not married to the idea so I shrugged and deleted it.

Problem is I can’t go back to blender render colors. Everything is shiny bright white now no matter what color I pick. I’ve tried deleting the colors in both cycles and blender render, but All I get is bright white.

I’m using an ancient dinosaur version of blender, 2.76

So you enabled using nodes for cycles and after switching back to internal render you didn’t disabled nodes? (Or didn’t add a material ouput slecting the internal material?)
