You’re #featured, enjoy!

(Si Rogers) #4

That’s lovely! I didn’t realise you could achieve such detail with vertex painting! The background; have you rendered it with transparent background and added the gradient in post?

(Kadraeus) #5

Beautiful work! Love the lighting, the eyes, and the complexion especially.

(veer chidar) #6

Thank you. The background is a plane and the gradient was done by placing lights on the top area.

(Si Rogers) #7

Right! Thanks!:grinning:

Well done Veer! Excellent work! <3

Whoa, this is so cool! I love the aesthetic of the materials and the way the proportions look. I love the styling of the nose and the shaping of the jaw and chin. The sculpt is honestly fantastic and really detailed. Even the lighting in the scene is spectacular. All in all, this looks amazing! I’m really looking forward to seeing what you make next!

P.S. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you do the hair? Making hair has always been challenging for me personally.

(veer chidar) #11

Thank you so much, glad you like the detail and lighting, took me some effort to make it work.

For the hair, sculpting is always challenging for me too, especially when making curly hair. Easy way to make anything that is complex would be to start with a good base mesh, use lines and skin modifier or anything that can help you easily lay down the big shapes. Then sculpt it into detail, but in case of this one I simply sculpted it without any base mesh to give myself some challenge.

Great work, she is beautiful !

Keep it up your good work.
