excluding a particle system from collision

i have two particle systems in my scene, one is supposed to interact with a collision mesh and the other is supposed to ignore the collision mesh.
How do i go about that?
In 2.4x i would simply but the emitter for the system that is supposed to work without collision on a different layer.
In 2.5 however the particles are influenced by objects on all layers.

I allready tried setting all the values in the “field weights” tab to 0
and limiting the effectors to a group in wich the collision mesh is not in.
But so far nothing has worked.

is there a secret “no collision” checkbox somewhere that i just havn’t found?

I think you are right, it is a bug. Report it quickly and it will be fixed quickly:p

Blender 2.5 is not ready for daily use yet. Vote in the poll and let them know that you can’t use it because it is still full of bugs.
