I have a queastion about Blender’s wireframe development =)
Blender can draw aesthetically pleasant thin good-looking wires - even without multisampling
(background wires, when Limit selection to visible (LSTV) feature is turned off)
Is it possible to make this thin wires optionally main, when LSTV is turned on?

Left image - LSTV is off, default shading with thin background wires.
Right image - Option, when thin wires becomes main when LSTV is on.
I think about this every time I deal with something like that
