A preemptive thanks to all who help.
Preemptive computer information:

Nvidia BFG 8800 GTS (revision 1)
Asus M2N-32 SLI Deluxe
AMD FX-62 dual core cpu
(not sure if this is even relevant…)
So here’s the deal:
I am trying to export my camera to after effects (CS3), and after some research, I found a script that should do the job. Sounds simple, right?
http://blenderartists.org/forum/showpost.php?p=1018882&postcount=13 has the newest (I think) version of the script, and is the one that I am working with.
Essentially when I try and run the scrip, I get this error:
Import Error: No module named Tkinter
First attempted fix was to try different versions of blender and python together. I tried installing Python version 2.6, 2.5.1, and 2.5.2 (both x64 and x86 versions if available) along with running Blender 2.46 or 2.47. No luck, I got the same message every time.
So I did some research, Tkinter seems to be a part of python that deals with the GUI of whatever is being developed, and I found this link:
There it tells me how to test Tkinter (in python, not blender), and the test works…
Now I don’t know too much about python or programming in general, and this is frustrating me beyond end as I am trying to figure out a good workflow for my next project. (stars in space + motion bur + blender seem to suck…:p)
