Export, Export, Export!

Is there anyway I can export a blend file (in this case it’s a game file) as a specific file so that that it plays on other computers, like a real video game, that don’t have blender on them?

Export Runtime. You’ll need to include a number of DLLs which can be found in Blender’s program file. (For windows, that is)

Make sure to package all your textures! FILE—>Pack Data

I looked for export runtime in the file dropdown but I didn’t see it.

It’s called ‘Save Runtime’, not ‘Save Dynamic Runtime’ (not even sure what that does.)

I packed the data and saved the runtime but when I went to open the file this sign appeared… I tried installing blender again but it still doesn’t work. Please help.

look inthe blender root folder, ther is a zlib.dll you need to put in the same root directory as your runtime…

SDL.dll and the other .dll files will help you too… just add them all for now, later you can figure out what is what.

I know what that does. It crashes. It’s a deprecated feature that was never removed from the menu.

Always use ‘Save Runtime’.
