export .ply using blender ?

I made a cube and exported .ply. the contents of ply files are like given below. is there something wrong with it bcoz i m not able to convert it .pcd.

I am very new as far as blender is concerned so please help me how to export a 3D model properly. I shall be very thankful to you.

Why are you not using the latest version of blender (v2.77) ?
You say you made a cube ? But the output says you have 26 faces so it cannot just be a basic 6 faced cube.
Exporting a basic cube would give you

Show us what you are trying to do (annotated screenshots and example .blend file etc as a minimum)

How are you trying to convert the .ply file ? Does it convert other .ply files ? If so which

Is it necessary for you to convert 3d mesh data to point cloud?
You haven’t given us proper or all ply file data - while it says it should have 60 vertices posted are only 3; also face count says 26 - example shows 17.

You could use text editor/spreadsheet as a conversion ply -> pcd tool: delete all but vertex coordinates and adjust file header in accordance to the pcd specifications and your data, e.g.:
