I participate in a project aiming to make a webcomic about stargate, called the JSP (Joint Stargate Project) ( We all use different modelling programmes, and I’m one of the two (wait, three) guys who use Blender. For scaling and in the end, rendering, we need to export our files to a format in which all of us can import it.
I tried exporting to .3ds and .obj, but none of these seem to add the textures.
It’s a 160K poly mesh with 3 2K*2K textures UV-mapped and auto-cube-mapped. Can anyone help me out to get the model exported to a widely-accepted format including the textures? Thanks a lot!
