export to dxf or other java preview format

Hi there!
Time ago I finished my blender object. Now I load the model here. For the java-preview I export the model in .wrl format. Here you can see it:

In the java-preview you can rotate the object variable. But there is only the left and the right side of the case. front, back, bottom and the top are missing. What can I do to have them too in the preview?
At the provider you can choose some formats for the model-preview: DXF, VRML, OBJ.
If I want to export the model in DXF the following alert is showing:
Has anybody an idea what are the correct settings?

What’s on? Nobody has an idea?

powerslide,
seems you have forgot to set a name for target file in “DXF->” field.

migius: thanks.
This problem I solved. The problem was to type the name with the ending of file-type. Now it works. Next problem: The format JavaView Lite v. 3.95.001 doesn’t support my dxf-file.
Check the link from the first post. There you can see the allert below the picture.
Somebody has an idea what kind of dxf-exporter or what settings I need for this JavaView version?

It seems JavaView Lite v. 3.95.001 doesn’t support DXF-files, doesn’t matter what DXF version you get.
But it supports OBJ files and Blender has an OBJ exporter script. Have you tested it?

Yeah I tested it. Now you can see the OBJ file at the link above. It works but the hole model has the same color. At the description of the page…

…also DXF files are supported. Maybe I take wrong DXF settings?

I have tested here the JavaViewLite and definitively it doesn’t support DXF files.
In opposition JavaView supports DXF quite well.
For my tests I have been exporting Blender mesh-models using “3D”-preset in DXF-exporter and the output was absolute correct.
Disadvantage of DXF format: it doesn’t support UV coordinates and textures.
DXF format will never meet your needs.
Because of this I would prefer OBJ format. Though i am not sure if JavaView supports UVtextures for OBJ models - they document only “partially support” for OBJ format. All my tests failed and there are no demo of textured OBJ models on the JavaView homepage.

p.s. i would appreciate you write some details to your forum profile here. I have a problem with giving support for anonym.
Are you the maintainer of http://illusions-recycling.de and http://www.illusions-schmiede.com? What about some information about the team?

Thanks for your effort. Maybe you are right and JavaView doesnt supports UVtextures for OBJ models. :frowning:
p.s. What do you mean with:

I’m not the maintainer of these pages. I only try this site for selling my model.
