Could someone tell me where I might find a script or pluging that would enable me to EXPORT from Blender an .mdl, .sms, .sma or .ams filetype?
Any help is appreciated.

OK. Let me explain what I am trying to do. I want to export a filetype FROM Blender that will retain all material and skeleton animation to a filetype that can be IMPORTED by 3ds Max. Can anyone help me with this, please?

Can’t you just go to the File menu in Blender and export a file in the 3ds format? I know you can import one in that format.

Thanks for your reply. I did that, however, and the skeleton animation and textures DID NOT get exported. Even when I export a static model the textures do not get exported. In either case, only the model itself is exported, everything else is lost.
