Exporting bones

I want to set all my characters in separate files so that I can import them as they are needed in my animations but when I try to export bones in a .x file It says: python script error, check console. How do I fix it?

I don’t know .x format, but I know bones are hard to export. md5mesh does it.

But what you CAN do is you can save a .blend file with your character (including bones) & make a master .blend file that you can import the individual parts of the other .blend files in to.

That is a good idea, but my animations have alot of characters and my computer doesn’t like running all of them at once. I’m not very familiar with modding so do you think you could walk me through it?
