Exporting materials from blender to unity

Hi, I’m starting to create assets for videogames and when I create objects that have metallic/shiny parts, like by example a sword, that would have the iron blade and a leather pommel, how I must export the materials to make the sword shiny on the blade and more rough on the pommel? I could create only 1 material, or must be 2?(I am not used to unity, but as far as I saw, I only could apply a material to an object)?

Likely the best option is to UV unwrap the object, then texture it using PBR approaches; paint/assign values for base color, metallic, roughness, and normal maps. If not used to unity, at least look up some tutorials on it.
