Exporting python scripts from blender

Hello Blender gurus,

This may be another silly question from me. Is there a way to export/save
a python script writting INSIDE a blender file/project to an external source?

For example, if I had a blender project p1, and I wrote a python script s1 in
p1, when I saved p1, s1 would be kept inside p1. Is there anyway to export
the script s1 to an independent file?
