I have two training video that I want to update to 2.78 but if the images are ok the sound is out of context. I need to replace the sound with a new one and maybe do translation in the future. How can I extract sound from a video created with Blender to replace with another track? Currently I have only one stream and I cannot separate the sound from the images…
There is a product called “Wavepad” by NCH software. I use that for extracting sound to WAV files. I would have thought that you could simply place your video (assuming it’s standard video file) into a VSE strip and that way you see the sound and video strips are separated for you? Just delete or redo the audio.
Further to my last - NCH also produce a thing called “Videopad”. You can d/load both that and Wavepad for free to at least see if they’ll do the job. That splits sound and video also.
