Hi everyone, I can’t understand why but blender is creating an exreme bump on a fairly dull bump map.
Here is the map:
here is the result
Here how it should look like
I tried to make the map duller with a mix node but i have to go to 0.9999 to make it look decent. And then the mix note doesn’t export (i need a glb file) so i get the extreme bump also in the external software.
I really can’t understand what’s going on. The normals are fine, the units and the scale too.
I have to prepare 10 models for tomorrow and i am stuck with this and cant go on.
Thank you for your help

Welp, You have Displacement map there, not Normal/Bump. Here is link to my own mistake on it Issue with baking normals from Multires
Plug texture to Normal Map node than to Displacement output and enable Displacement on Material tab(right panel), I believe it was under Settings submenu -
Blender tends to overdo the Bump strengh, You will very rarely go with 1 Str and 1 Heigh on sliders.
P.S. oh and I do not know if Eevee support Displacement yet, I suggest to use Cycles or google if Displacement works in Eevee render engine
