I have finally figured out how to get extrude along path to work…but howinheck do you make it so that if you delete the bevobj, it doesn’t delete all the ones along the path as well? I have looked at the ride thru the mines tutorial and the blender docs, but they don’t seem to cover it.
You could convert your extruded path to mesh (alt-c).
Why do you need to get rid of the bevOb curve?
Is converting it to a mesh the only way to do that?
I suppose it doesn’t matter if the curve is there, as long as it won’t show up at render time (which I expect it doesn’t)…guess I am just being overly picky…having it there just seems…cluttered.
You can always move it to another layer, just highlight it and press M.
