If you add a bezier curve object, you can extrude the loop along it
Ifi this is an non-filled circle I don’t know if you can extrude along the vertices normal, but you could fill the circle, then extrude, then shift R to repeat, or extrude as long as you want and create edge loops
wow it was that simple thanks alot! is there any way to make each horizontal section evenly spaced as I extrude it?
you can either press shift R to repeat the extrusion, or create new edge loops with ctrl R, not sure it answers? If you choose the first solution don’t forget to delete the inner faces

note that your circle seems to be not aligned with the world orientation, that’s why I recommended to fill it, if the object still is aligned, you can use the world orientation, it means extrude then type twice the axis you want, for example ZZ
