Extruding a 2D cross section into a 3D torus

Dear Blender community,

Im a physician, and fairly new to using Blender.

I am trying to build a 3D Torus shape whose cross section is this:

I only have the 2D design and can’t figure a way to “extrude it to life” or to 3D-it in the way of a Torical shape…

I hope someone can help me out here,

Thanks to all =D

Make the cross section from a curve object
Add a curve circle for the torus and set the cross section curve as the bevel object
Convert the torus to a mesh with Alt+C

Thank you very much! I hadn’t replied before becasue I was still trying to make it work!
I finally managed to do it! have a look please:

Now I would like to create a Moebius shape out of this Torus, something like this:

But would also like to keep the inside of it smooth and untwisted, with regular walls, like the inside of a Bracelet or cylinder…

I dont know if I should create another thread for this ?

Thanks for the kind help!
