Eye movement

can someone please explain to me how to make the eyes move, kind of like the way ludwig is, but im not advanced enough to figure out who in the **** he turned regular mesh objects in to armatures! thanx in advance

to use a mesh as an armature first make the mesh you want to become an armature then select the bone you want. Enter pose mode. and in
buttons window-editing-armature bones. you should see area to define bone name, distance, etc. there should also be a txt box. just type in the name of the mesh you want.
