Eye texture not working! Please help!

I have been hard at work modelling a cartoon character and the eyes are giving me trouble. Here is a screenshot of the problem:


As you can see, the eye texture appears on the wrong part of the eye. I have tried rearranging the different unwrapped parts of the eye in the image editor, but no matter what part of the eye is over the texture, the texture on the eyeball is always right where it is in the rendered image. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You haven’t included your textures in your blend file so we cannot see what you see.
If you want to use the objects UVs you need to set the texture Mapping Coordinates to UV, not the default ‘Generated’
