Eye Texturing Help Cycles

Using Blender 2.68
Cycles Render

The image below is the result of the texture being applied to the eyeball. My want is that the mesh itself be controlled by a diffuse shader, That way I can turn it white :confused:

But as you can see, the background on it is Black from the texture. I am sure I can go into photoshop and just add a white background to the eye… but thats not what I am trying to do ^-^;

Can someone post some sort of Node explaination to get a diffuse to control the mesh without changing the texture?
