Eye tutorial WIP -v.1 need feedback

I’m thinking about doing an advanced tutorial on how to make eyes like demonstrated here:

Any demand for this?

It would take a little while, as I’ll be learning a bit of web design as I go along, but if there’s enough people want this I’ll do it.

Alex

very very nice render, i guess theres always room for eye tutorials, other then the pixar one there are a few other ways of doing it that can be very handy in certain situations. So if you will it, would be cool to see it =)

Ok, at 12-1 I think the ayes (no pun) have it.

I’ve finished the first page (some quick re-aquainting with html needed). This is my first tute, so any comments on levels of detail, structure etc…?

It is meant to be a sort of diary style structure with re-evaluations and improvements made later on.

Sorry about the hosting, but I’m too lazy to change at the moment (although banner -free free webhosts (if they exist) or less intrusive bannered webhost suggestions would be appreciated.

Alex

I can host it if you want, on one of my servers.

About free web hosting without banner? Try http://www.orgfree.com they give you 125 Mb of space, file size limit 1.5Mb :expressionless: , 300 Mb bandwith/day. If I dont remember wrong. I use it and it have worked pretty good… I cant connect to my site at the moment I write this and not to orgfree.com either. I suppose its because of their move to the new servers.

I will follow your tutorial too. Its very nice eyes, keep it up

Its really cool to see a more in depth look at the pixar tut. Good idea and good eyes. You dont have to stop with the eyes though…you can continue on with how you modelled that head, a hair, and skin tut…just kidding…im sure that would be a lot of work. Looking foward to the rest of the tut.

If it is a well written tut it is welcome

Ok… done for now, I’d like some comments on ease, pitching etc… also if you feel like commenting on my website I’ve built to contain it feel free  .

This is my first tutorial, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Link is as above.
