Hey, im pretty new to blender, and i finally made a character and rigged him. but the character object has
different meshes for the eyebrows and hair, which are not followin the body mesh when movin the bones.
what am i doin wrong?
i think you should parent the hair and eyebrow meshes to the head bone that you are moving in the gif. That should solve the problem of them moving with the head.
However, if you are planning on making shape keys for the eyebrows and hair I would recommend making them before you parent them to the head bone. Then once you do, parent the bones that you use for the shape keys to the head and it should follow just fine.
I am sorry if its a stupid question, but i truly need help with this, i am stuck and cant work any further, cant find a solution online
Hi. This should be easy to fix. Your body has the armature modifier, yes. Now add armature modifier to your hair and brow meshes. You don’t have to parent, just adding the modifier is enough. Then in both meshes, create vertex group with the same name as bone that influences the head, and in edit-mode add all vertices with weight 1.
Now both hair-meshes should follow the head-bone.
You can also do this:
Go into pose mode on the armature and select the head bone only so it’s blue/green.
Go back into object mode.
Select the eyebrows, hold shift and select the armature
hit ctrl p and then choose ‘Bone’ from the popup menu.
