I’m working with a humanoid face using this tutorial https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21066 . Just wondered, how do you add eyes in that. I mean the eyeballs. How do you make changes to the model so that it doesn’t look stupid when you put the balls in? I don’t want any holes between the eyeball and the eyelids (That’s their name? Eyelids? Right?).
What TorQ left out of that tutorial is that you should always model the eye socket (eyelids, etc) with an eyeball in place.
What you can do now is place some eyeballs there and adjust the vertices to fit the shape.
Don’t forget to use a mirror to observe how things work on your own head. (I presume you want something you can animate…)
Good luck!
Thanks. I don’t really know what to do with every vertice of the eye area, but I guess I’m gonna be allright with the eye now.
I’m not really doing an animation. I’m making technoid (human, mech and nanocreature in the same skin) fo a Pelit’s 3D-contest.
What I did (I’m a newbie though) is just extrude all the inside edges of the eye-hole then pushed them back into the head. They then disappear into the eyeball ensuring no gaps, then just move vertices around to get a nice even thickness in the lid.
