Here is a WIP for the 2003 Blender F1 Challenge…
The modelling is 90% finished, and texturing 35%.
I would like to know what do you think about the design please…

Just one thing about the ilumination: adjust the bias value. The car seems to be floating a little. Other lights would be very nive too. Try some colored ones.
I think the model could be more detailed too. the cockpit is too simple. Why don’t you add some details to show how it opens for example. some mechanism etc.
That’s what I think.

Not bad, not bad at all!!!
I really like the design, the hole punched metal look is definatly a plus, and the sceen is lit nicely enough.
I do think tho that the textures need alot of work, use some img maps and combine a few layers of details, it looks very clean and plasticy right now.
But overall, good work!!!

you don’t need chrome as a must
but you need to move those lateral engines, theit exhaust would hit the rear wheels… not nice.

wow and with the background it will look stunning perhaps a few jackas and (put some spare wheels and other pieces off the car, perhaps unpainted looking ones like they might be used to repair it in a crash)
like a workshop, with spare springs and that all over the place

well i see it this way, the wheels work better when they are hot so why not use jets to heat them up LOL
its easier than doing awarm up lap!!!

I’ve thought that it could be a garage with oil on the floor, propergol bottles, pieces to change etc… Maybe a little TECH ambiance
