FACE mode, group of faces, SNAP TO CURSOR shrinks everything - proper workflow?

When one selects a GROUP of Faces, using SNAP TO CURSOR appears to shrink all the vertices to the cursor location.

This is of limited utlity. :roll_eyes: :face_with_monocle: What’s the proper workflow to snap a group of selected Faces to the cursor location without collapsing them to a singularity?

Check “Offset” in the adjustment panel at the lower left corner of your 3D viewport.

Or just use the “Snap selection to cursor (Keep Offset)” in the “Mesh > Snap” menu:
