Facetracking of footage on characters

Hi
I want to create realistic emotions on my character.
My Plan is to use footage with markers (like dots) from my face and track it on my 3d characters.
My problem is I don’t know how to this on my characters.

If you have any idea please share it here with me.

I can create that kind of footage but I don’t know to track this on my characters
