Facial Hair

Hello!

I’m having a terrible time trying to do facial hair - just looking to do stubble… any suggestions or good tutorials (blender 2.5)?

a texture with a bump map works well for facial stubble. the important thing to remember is to make the normals map first, and then you can use that as the alpha channel for making the diffuse texture in photoshop or GIMP
