fantasy armor

it has been a LONGGG while since i have started a wip, or even opened up blender and do more than play with a few vertice. i dont think i will be continuing with this particular mesh, i have another similar reference that i will be modeling instead and post here. this mesh was for a test of HDRI, i got it working tonight (wasnt as hard as i had expected at all :eek: )

any crits? i cant exactly say i am happy with the hdri reflections, they just dont look… defined enough, i guess. tomorrow i will mess with nodes after i finish more of the other mesh. and, does anyone have a link to a free HDRI image repository?

Too plastic. Get rid of some specularity. And add some more defined edges. It now looks like its all carved out from one piece of plastic.
