Fantasy Creature New 3D model


This is a new 3D model created using basic extrusion in Blender. Full rigged however full animation is in progress.

—I have noticed when I zoom out, then bump maps tend to become flat and smooth…when zooming in (Close up) the normal maps look very detailed. Is there any clever way to improve it if you know what I mean?

I have tried MIPMAP button with good results however it takes up to 20 times more to render. Any suggestion?

The best thing you can do about the bumpmaps is render him using the new bump algorithm in 2.5. 2.49’s bumpmapping kind-of sucks compared to 2.5
