I have a small self contained render farm I recently rebuilt as a result of Blender 2.83 being issued sans network render. I documented the complete build and software installation in a four part guide to contribute to local high schools to kick-start a student animation and programming project. I received some help from Blender Artists with one of my bloopers during the build and realised that render farms are not completely off-topic and some members are interested. So I’m uploading the guide in case anyone is looking for similar. It is only the first incarnation and needs a GUI but it works. It is specifically for Blender and utilises Blender features.
