Has anyone an idea how to fasten testrenderings for long hair? would be thankful if someone could post his/heer ideas and experiences 
I ve tried out to put off shadow, Raytracing and of course lowering the amount of hair, but i d like to render my 10000 hair strands because only this way i can see how the final result might look like

Use tangent rendering, I rendered about 50,000 hairs in less than a minute.
Turning off OSA seems to give me the best speed up. If you can’t deal with that, just turn it all the way down to five. Aside from that, you could just render at half resolution.
