Female Character Study

This project took me a while, and I decided to call it done and move on to other challenges.

The project included:

  1. Sculpting the body and face
  2. Retopo
  3. Modeling (and sculpting details) clothes
  4. Adding hair
  5. Posing the character

For all renders:


Very natural. Has an easy grace about her, and looks very realistic.

… do you have a time-lapse work ?

Wow. So is this all Blender ?

As others have said. Beautiful poise and grace. No stiff or awkward angles anywhere in that render.

She really looks alive and as if she is about to talk. Which is the hardest thing of all.

You think it looks Zbrush-y?

I disagree. I think it’s quite apparent that she is CGI. Nonetheless, I like the expression of her face and the pose.

Very impressive. I’ve got a long way to go.
