female model ( nudity )

Hi,this is my first wip on this forum, and i want to realise a female model.
step one, the body. Tell me your feelings.

Good so far. only problem I see with the topology is a 6 edges pole righ at the inner part of the ancle.

Some close ups for the face, and hands would be nice n_n.

Nice topology.

Although, I think the sternocleidomastoid (sp?) is a little too defined.

Head: Take the smoothing (subdiv modifier) off, and even out the lines while the mesh is unsmoothed.

You dont need to follow the hand tutorial exactly; it’s not perfect but it will give better topology than you have now.

My uv have been done with the symetry modifier, so it should be the same on both side huh? so why one hand turn weird?

im not sure if this is the case but for me it looks like uv calculation is set to conformal and from what i saw it does like to unwrap into some weird shapes

that’s right, but one hand is nicely unwrapped when the other get strange… why or how can i fix this.

in the uv/image editor have you tried the uv-> average islands scale?

it’s looking pretty good, nice topology for the most part. Dunno what’s going on with your uv’s.
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems the head is a bit small for the neck n body. Her stomach is too flat, with the navel being too small n round. The topology doesn’t allow for much definition for the ribcage. Her eyes could use a little more attention… they look like they haven’t reached the finished point yet, they’re too smooth n simple from eyelids to brow ridge. The front of the skull/forehead looks weird, can’t really tell what’s going on without seeing a shot in side view n perspective view. You did a nice job on the hands, but the hands could have more length to them. Maybe this will help

Not a good place for even a 5 Edged pole imho.

here some update. there is more about breast and feet but i don’t have screenshot yet.


here is the last tweak. texture are pretty done but i still looking for the lips.

projection painting (3d -> 2D -> 3D) is really useful for the lips! you can make her more feminine by painting the upper lip larger.


update with clothes. there is more to come^^

Her face looks kinda…old. Something with her eyes I think…

I think you can make the face more “femalized”.
For exemple, the eyelids would be more higher and it would have more space between the eyes and the eyelids.


err… i’ll probably need help and advice for the hair -_-’
