Something in a different vein - I modeled this after one of my own guitars. The sunburst was a layered effect created in GIMP.
EDIT - there was another, battered version but I had some serious issues with getting the textures right - still, I’ll pop it here for posterity’s sake 
Very nice, one thing that does jump out at me though is the jack plate seems very rounded, I thought they were flatter than that.
Now you mention it… lol - I will definitely have a look at that 
And, yes, I’m aware that the whole image is WAY too yellow in the weathered version… you live, you learn!
How did you do the sunburst? Is it all with textures? I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to do it with shaders and materials, and having no luck (so far).
